Founded in 2005 by Arnaud de Partz under the name Banque Dessinée, our auction house initially devoted itself passionately to the world of comic books. This exclusive specialisation, which continued until 2016, enabled us to quickly become one of the European leaders in this very specific field of the 9th art.

In 2017, our company underwent a major change when it adopted the name Millon Belgium, following Alexandre Millon's acquisition of a stake in our capital. This period marked an ambitious diversification with the development of new departments: Jewellery and Watches, Paintings and Works of Art, all managed from our premises in Brussels.

After seven years of fruitful collaboration, Arnaud de Partz chose to take over the reins in complete independence in 2024. Our company thus became 100% Belgian once again and adopted its new name: AZ Auction — a nod to its founder while marking a turning point towards the future.
