Founded in 2005 by Arnaud de Partz under the name Banque Dessinée, our auction house initially specialised in comic art. This focus, maintained until 2016, enabled us to quickly become one of Europe’s leading auction houses in this field of the 9th art.

In 2017, our auction house became Millon Belgium following Alexandre Millon’s investment in the company. This period marked the development of new departments, including Jewellery and Watches, as well as Paintings and Works of Art, all managed from our Brussels premises.

After seven years of collaboration, Arnaud de Partz chose to regain full independence and take back the leadership of the company in 2024. Our auction house became 100% Belgian again and adopted its new name: AZ Auction, a tribute to its founder.

Today, our team of experts advises collectors and sellers across each of our departments. Based on Avenue des Casernes in Brussels, we organise several catalogued and online auctions every year, driven by the same passion that has inspired us for twenty years.
