Art Deco snake chain and pendant in all its splendor in 18k (750 thousandths) yellow gold, featuring an engraved opal beetle with orange and green flashes and blue undertones. Set with calibrated stones: diamonds, emeralds, natural sapphires and a few synthetic sapphires. We are in the 1920s-1930s, because in 1922, Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered and Egyptomania was a very popular artistic trend! A small emerald is missing from the setting.

It's a symbolic brooch signifying happiness regained thanks to lily of the valley. Forget-me-nots in English and Dutch mean "don't forget me", while the wreath is a symbol of immortality and light. Decorated with probably fine pearls, blue enamel for the forget-me-nots and imitation stones on the wreath.
