Important and exceptional silver brooch in connection with the harvest season, decorated with birds, one of which is larger and defends its three coral eggs in their nest from a snake. The decoration features enameled vine leaves (missing) in three transparent shades (light green, intense green and gold) and clusters of fine pearls (untested), probably from mussels. Original 18k (750 thousandths) yellow gold pin with partial W hallmark. Owl and swan hallmarks attesting to the presence of gold and silver. A few pearls are missing from one of the clusters.
