Remarkable Kashmir sapphire of 5,14 ct. most likely from the region of Batakundi. No indication of heating. Round modified brilliant cut. A light blue veil crosses this purplish pink sapphire. Transparency and glitter. A GIA report mentions the Kashmir origin and the source type : CMT Type II which means that Kashmir comes first in the classification.

Expert notes :
The color between pink and blue, the veil, the tender and milky element of the stone remind us of sapphires from the Batakundi area. The GIA certificate mentions that the source should be from the outskirts of Azad province, which corresponds perfectly to Batakundi.
