Padparadscha sapphire of 1,59 ct. of a very rare vivid orangy pink color. Mixed cushion cut, this sapphire has no indication of heating. Very nice transparency. Madagascar origin following the indications of the CGL report.

Expert notes:
In every auction, there is a remarkable stone. If there only had to be one, it would be this stone! A padparadscha of a color so vivid, so intense, so saturated; it is rare. In a gemologist’s lifetime, sapphires of this quality are less than the number of fingers on one hand. This padparadscha appears red, then a tender pink color adds itself to this primary red, to finally unveil an expression of bloody orange. Nature has decided.
